Technocover upstand access covers and enclosures are designed with domed lids or sloping roofs, respectively, to facilitate the shedding of water.
As part of our ongoing product development, from September 2014 we have implemented a new weather strip design onto the frame header of all door set assemblies to further enhance this water shedding. By adding the new “Rain Deflector Strip” water is diverted away from the top of door leafs whilst helping protect operatives from dripping water when entering or exiting.

Rain deflector strips are now standard over all outward opening door sets, including those fitted within our secure modular enclosure building systems.
