5 Year Extended Warranty Statement

Technocover will provide our extended warranty at no extra cost on all access covers that are supplied and installed by our highly trained site engineers.

Technocover Ltd ‘Extended Warranty Statement’ describes the terms on which Technocover Ltd warrants the quality of its products. Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are not affected by the terms of this Warranty Statement.

All Technocover Ltd products are designed and manufactured to the highest standards and

deliver high‐quality performance, ease of use and ease of installation. In case you encounter any

difficulties while using your product, we recommend that you contact one of our experienced team members for advice on 01938 55 55 11.

In the unlikely event of a product failure during the warranty period, Technocover Ltd will arrange for your product to be assessed and remedial action undertaken by one of our trained site engineers. This will be at no cost to customers unless it relates to an excluded claim, see below defining what is excluded.

Extended Warranty terms

Technocover Ltd warrants that its products conform with any applicable specification and will

be free from material defects in design, material, and workmanship.

The extended warranty begins on the date of install and expires 60 months from that date excluding items listed below.

If any defect due to faulty design, materials or workmanship occurs within the warranty period,

Technocover Ltd will arrange a site visit for an assessment. Where a repair is not possible Technocover Ltd may agree to replace the product. Replacement will be offered at Technocover Ltd discretion and the warranty will continue from the date of original purchase. The Technocover warranty applies provided the product has been handled properly for its intended use and in accordance with the operation and maintenance guidance.

Exclusions

The Technocover Extended Warranty does not apply if:

Repairs, product modifications or alterations have been carried out by unauthorised

service organisations or persons.

The defect is caused by abuse or misuse of the product or by environmental conditions that

are not in conformity with the recommended operations of the product.

(For electronic products) The unit has been damaged ‐ including but not limited to damage

by lightning, abnormal voltage and water.

The Customer makes further use of the product having notified a material defect.

There is a failure to maintain or service the product in the required manner.

Proprietary Items Excluded from Extended Warranty

The Technocover Extended Warranty does not cover the following OEM items, these items can be supplied as spares:

Surface mounted locking systems (padlockable systems included in warranty):

12 months or 200,000 cycles (whichever is sooner).

Access cover actuators, gas struts:

12 months or 5,000 cycles (whichever is sooner).
