The solution featured in this case study illustrates how market leading design, manufacture and installation expertise came together to deliver another highly effective security upgrade whilst keeping a sharp focus on client operational needs.
A modular security cage system was designed as a key part of a major building hardening project to protect vital infrastructure assets within an existing brick built structure. The new UltraSecure cage system measured 11 metres long x 2.5 metres high and included two solenoid entry Sentinel single leaf doors with key and lever override and push-pad emergency exit.
The cage roof measured 11 metres long with a 6 metres span and incorporated two 1400 mm x 1500 mm clear opening UltraSecure padlockable sliding roof access hatches, opened and closed via 700 mm linear actuators, controlled from a wall mounted power box. The roof hatches were positioned to allow removal and reinstatement of equipment via the building roof whilst ensuring a high level of security when padlocked in the closed position.
