- Designed to accept loads in accordance with BS EN 124.
- All mechanical functions are hidden from the outside to maintain maximum security.
- Moated frame - Drainage channel and pipes between inner and outer frame.
- Proximity alarms fitted as standard.
- External bolt fixings plus internal holding down straps supplied as standard protruding down into chamber to prevent levering up if excessive force is used.
- Tamper proof hidden hinges.
- Escape hatch is operable from inside only, via a three point shoot bolt locking system with slam shut facility.
- Custom made to individual requirements up to 1100mm x 1100mm clear opening.
- Torsion sprung with stainless steel springs to provide an emergency exit.
- Hand operated safety stay to hold hatch in upright open position.
- The outer frame flanges are fixed by special headed security pin bolts and then set in concrete.
- Conforms to all health and safety single person manual-handling regulations.
- Manufactured from minimum 4 mm thick structural steel plate hot dip galvanised after manufacture to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard.
- External paint finishes are available for aesthetic appearance if required and will be applied over etch primer and base coat.
