Community News – Supporting Shrewsbury Town Football Club

Technocover – pleased to continue supporting Shrewsbury Town Football Club for the 2018-2019 season.

Shrewsbury Town, otherwise known by the nicknames Salop, The Blues, The Town or The Shrews, currently play in the English Football League One, the second-highest division of the English Football League and the third tier in the English football league system.

Based at the Montgomery Waters Meadow, Oteley Road, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Shrewsbury’s purpose-built stadium has a capacity of 9,875 across four stands and has been the home of the club since 2007.

As a Club, The Town see themselves very much at the heart of the community. As well as work on the pitch they continually work hard off the park to ensure they improve numbers engaging with the Club whether that is more people of all ages attending first team matches, conferences or events or through Shrewsbury Town in the Community (their charity partner) who worked with over 8,000 individuals last year in a range of activities to assist people of Shropshire and Mid Wales with their health, education, sports participation and social inclusion.

Shrewsbury Town continually strive to utilise their facilities for the benefit of local people and for local and national businesses and have built up an excellent relationship with a diverse range of business throughout Shropshire, Mid Wales and beyond.

For the 2017-2018 season Technocover were delighted to announce their partnership with Shrewsbury Town for the first time, a Club that very much shares their community supporting ethos. The Technocover name appeared on the back of the first team home shirts and Technocover display advertising went on show within hospitality areas of the stadium. Technocover were pleased to announce their continued partnership for the 2018-2019 season.
