PRODUCT
USES
This
cover is suitable for several different purposes including: access
chambers over waste water, valve and electrical pits where a waterproof
cover is required in a non trafficked area.
STANDARD PRODUCT FEATURES
· Sealed to prevent
the ingress of insects, dirt etc plus insect proof ventilation grille
providing air flow within the chamber.
· Hand operated auto safety stay to maintain cover in
the open position in all weather conditions. Locks automatically
when the cover is open.
95 degree opening cover lid opens clear of the chamber for safety,
and for unobstructed access/or equipment hoisting.
· Tamper proof hidden hinges incorporating torsion springs
to comply with H.S.E. manual handling for one person operation.
· Lifting handle to enable operators hands to be clear
of cover and frame when closing.
· Hasp and staple locking for security with lever down
locking mechanism to provide positive sealing
· Protective shroud to prevent the levering off/cropping
of the padlock and as a weatherproof hood.
· Cover is domed to increase rigidity and facilitate
water shedding.
· Anchor bolt fixing holes, positioned inside the cover
for maximum security.
