Technocover ACCREDITATION

Total Service

Survey > Design > Manufacture > Installation > Maintenance. The introduction of our “TOTAL” service in replacing access covers, doors, cabinets and various high security products has seen specifiers in the industry quickly adopting the advantages of our “one stop shop”.

LPCB

Technocover is an approved LPCB ISO 14001:2004 (Cert No EMS 450) and ISO 9001 (Cert No 450) accredited company, this gives our customers the assurance that the goods and services we provide are quality assured by third party accreditation. The aim of the L.P.C.B. is to promote excellence and innovation in the built environment through the provision of assurance that products, systems, processes, services and personnel meet specified standards.

UVDB

Technocover are UVDB Verify registered suppliers (No 81127). UVDB Verify is a standard Safety, Health, Environment and Quality assessment run by Achilles on behalf of subscribing utilities and suppliers and contractors. Solo Lift

All Technocover Solo-Lift access covers have been developed to comply with the European Health and Safety Executive Manual Handling Operation Regulations for single person operation. Each cover lid is hinged and assisted with stainless steel torsion springs or gas struts, the lid weight, with the spring assistance, is always well within the maximum lifting H.S.E. directive for single person operation, essential for cost effective maintenance.

UltraSecure Steel

The UltraSecure range has been designed to be more secure in all its design features and components than standard proprietary products. Features that include hidden hinges, turned in or hidden securing lugs and special locking systems come as standard.

Ultrasecure Sentinel

The Ultrasecure Sentinel composite door range available with either an LPCB 3, 4 or 5 security rating, depending on the assessed level of risk and can be supplied with up to 4 hour fire resistance to BS 476 : Part 22, tested and approved by the BRE.

SECURED BY DESIGN

‘Secured by Design’ licensed company status is awarded to those companies producing security products which pass standards and tests nominated by the police service as "Police Preferred Specification". It is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of designing out crime. Secured by Design is supported and managed by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and has the backing of the Home Office.
